DESIGN OF EDUCATIONAL SPACES FOR UNIVERSITY CAMPUSES

Abstract The article describes the dual nature of the educational space: architectural space and environmental interaction space between architecture and its inhabitants. A number of studies in the field of designing an educational environment and the formation with its help of a world view and a model of a student’s existence were attracted. As an example of a design approach to the creation of an educational space, a methodical sequence of educational design of a university campus is presented and four design concepts arising from the proposed design methodology are described.
