Article	MEMORIAL YEAR OF THE 800TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE HOLY PRINCE ALEXANDER NEVSKY: EXPERIMENTAL TASKS OF THE COURSE DESIGN OF THE DEPARTMENT OF «TEMPLE ARCHITECTURE»

Abstract	In the article, we substantiate the need to develop theological and pedagogical approaches in the field of architectural education related to religious objects. We have considered the theological and pedagogical approach, which consists in appealing to historical memory. It is correlated through the memory of the exploits of Russian saints with significant events for Russia. In the article, we present experimental design tasks for the objects «Chapel», «Parish Church», «Cathedral». We have considered the projects of undergraduates completed in accordance with the tasks in 2020–2021, united by a common memorial and historical theme. We correlate the project tasks with the structured directions of the development of theological approaches in architectural education. With the study of tradition and modernity; functional filling and shaping; formalization of the design methodology.
