Abstract In the work of one of the first pioneers of reinforced concrete in Russia A.F. Loleit has many white spots. There are buildings where his authorship is not documented, but his unique style, only his inherent engineering courage is revealed by constructive solutions. This is the so-called «House-Ship» in Moscow’s district Zaryadye, interesting from an architectural and engineering point of view. This building in 1908 was one of the first heralds of the new architectural style - constructivism. Information about this building is very sparse and incorrect in places. The article makes an attempt to clarify the features of the structures and materials of the «House-ship», and most importantly – to put forward a version about the authorship of A.F. Loleita and try to prove this statement.
