Abstract
I nvestigated modern design of residential buildings, depending on the demographics and consumer demand in the property market. Territorial binding studies − satellite towns located around large and big cities at a distance of 5 ... 60 km away. All types of habitation are in an equal degree examined. Relevance of the research lies in the unpredictable consumer demand for the type of apartments (in a given period of time and place). Consequently, remodeling of an apartment house partially or entirely under construction or design. That, from the viewpoint of architecture, not a smooth solution. The object of research is taken apartment building mid-rise with the same frame, vertical communication, and divided into three elements: the core frame, cloth. An attempt was made to take into account conjectures due to the flexible floor plan of an apartment house in various stages of design, construction and operation. This principle is also projected on sections of different types of residential buildings. Features based on consumer demand for the type of apartments (number of rooms), depending on the principles of the formation of a residential apartment building.
