Article URBAN PLANNING ORGANIZATION OF SCIENCE IN FEDERAL DISTRICTS AND REGIONS OF RUSSIA

Abstract The article deals with the problems of urban planning organization of science in the federal districts and regions of Russia. The uneven distribution of scientific objects, concentrated mainly in the western part of the country, on the territory of the Central Federal District and the Capital Region, is noted. The ways of creating new centers of research activity, closely connected with the centers of education and production, are outlined. A classification of scientific objects is given, the peculiarities of the distribution of research institutes, libraries, museums, stations, observatories and other objects between large cities and surrounding territories are determined. Examples of the creation of new and improvement of existing research, scientific and educational and scientific and innovation centers in Moscow and the Moscow region, in the Novosibirsk region and the Primorsky Territory are given. Examples of the seizure of territories occupied by scientific objects, the transfer of these objects to other sites without sufficient scientific justification are also given. It is proposed to make additions to the «Urban Planning Code of the Russian Federation».
