AbstractThe publications of members of the Association of ARU on projects in Central Asia in periodicals from the 1930s to the 1940s are considered. Based on the content of the publications, the directions of activity of the ARU members before and after the collapse of the Association were identified. The role of architects who took part in design and research activities for Central Asia is indicated. At the final stage of their activity in the region, on the example of publications and projects of the mid-1930s, the circulation and development of the architectural and urban planning ideas of N. Ladovsky is traced.
