Article THE REVIVAL OF THE SILK-PRODUCING ENTERPRISES OF RUSSIA

Abstract The article deals with the problems of preserving the architecture of weaving city-forming enterprises as monuments of industrial heritage. It is proposed to renovate industrial areas with the preservation of production and the urban environment. For this purpose, it is proposed to create a raw material base in the Crimea, which will lead to the preservation of the peninsula's landscapes and its ecology. The history of silk-weaving enterprises and proposals for their renewal are briefly presented. Project proposals for the reconstruction of old factories are presented, which is of great importance for preserving the cultural heritage of the state, creating favorable living and working conditions for the population of cities, contributing to the development of domestic tourism and the economic independence of cities.
