Article PUBLIC SPACES NEAR METRO STATIONS IN THE PERIPHERAL AREAS OF MOSCOW

Abstract The article is devoted to the consideration of areas near metro stations. The main disadvantages of the urban environment of Moscow's periphery, obstacles to the balanced development of peripheral territories are briefly outlined. The main problems of the development of peripheral areas near metro stations are traced from the standpoint of urban planning and social qualities. The relationship between the existing problems of peripheral areas and the initial concepts of their formation is manifested. The main city-forming tasks for the squares near the metro exit in the peripheral districts of Moscow are formulated.
