Authors S. Kizilova
Moscow Institute of Architecture (State Academy), Moscow, Russia
Abstract The article is devoted to the problem of the emergence and formation of the pandemic architecture, which is becoming relevant in connection with the crisis situation caused by the spread of the COVID-19 epidemic. The purpose of the article is to identify scenarios for the development of the pandemic architecture at the genesis stage. In the theoretical section, the aspects of the impact of epidemics on architecture over the course of historical time are considered. The practical part contains an analysis of project proposals on the topic of pandemic architecture-innovative hospitals developed during the outbreak of the COVID-19 epidemic, from the point of view of their spatial organization. As a result, the following scenarios are established: adaptation scenario, modular aggregation scenario, heterotopy scenario, vertical organization scenario. The materials of the article can be useful for practical developments aimed at modeling spaces of various functional purposes in the conditions of epidemics.
Keywords: pandemic architecture, adaptive architecture, modular structures, mobile architecture, architectural heterotopia
