Article FEATURES OF FORMING OF ARCHITECTURE OF THE MULTIFUNCTIONAL WATERPARKS

Abstract The article examines the historical stages of forming of the multifunctional water parks. The sequence of development of this type of building from ancient times to the beginning of the twenty-first century is considered. The author indicates the main characteristics of the periods of development that affect the practice of constructing water complexes. The characteristic features of the formation of the spatial structure of water parks have been determined. The foreign design experience and trends in the development of architecture of this type of buildings are considered. Based on the regularities of the formation of water centers, the characteristic features of their future development are shown in accordance with the presented trends.
