Authors

D. Fesenko
«Arkhitekturnyy Vestnik» Magazine, Moscow, Russia

AbstractSince the early 1990s urban planning and territorial planning were practically excluded from professional life. Only since the second half of the 2000s there has been a change in attitude towards this field of professional activity. The author traces the causes and consequences of these changes – from the sequential rehabilitation of landscape architecture, then – urban planning, then – territorial planning, to the development of federal megaprojects, usually dedicated to certain socially significant events, and the revision of urban planning policy in the capital as a result of vertical control change.
Keywords: territorial planning, urban megaprojects, urban dysfunctions, landscape architecture, end of the 2000s – second half of the 2010s
