Article	MOSCOW DEPARTMENTAL AND COOPERATIVE RESIDENTIAL BUILDINGS OF 1920s – 1930s AS AN ARCHITECTURAL HERITAGE

Abstract	Hundreds of unique departmental and cooperative residential buildings were built in Moscow in the second half of the 1920s – the first half of the 1930s. Being highly valued by their residents and architectural historians, many of these objects still do not have a special status of an architectural monument. Usually the list of notable residents is valued more than the architectural characteristics of the building. The author of the article suggests revising this tradition and points out possible objects that are worthy to be included in the lists of architectural monuments.
