Abstract	The article is devoted to the actual aspects of teaching composition in architectural universities and its use in the practice of modern educational and professional architectural design. The author's view on the problem is presented. The main distinctive features of the kinetic composition and the ways of its formation, revealing its artistic and aesthetic potential and development prospects in the context of modern dynamic architecture are shown.
