IN THE TEMPLE CONSTRUCTION

AbstractIn this article we discuss new temples that were created by the foundation: Support for the construction of Orthodox temples in Moscow. We have done analysis of some temples that made of reimpositioned concrete. Architectural, constructive and space-planning features of temples, that are completely made of monolithic concrete and temples with a frame constructive scheme, are considered. Revealed features of the construction of vaulted structures that made of reimpositioned concrete, as well as conducting a technical survey of religious buildings. When reimpositioned concrete is used in religious construction, the number of temples made of small-piece materials in which traditional arches are made of brick is reduced. Following hypothesis is put forward ‑ the widespread use of reimpositioned concrete may lead to the absence of the need for specialists capable of building stone arches. There is concern about the loss of the age-old Russian tradition and the culture of building arched brick structures.
