Article E.N. ROGERS AND THE DEVELOPMENT OF ITALIAN ARCHITECTURE IN THE XX CENTURY

Abstract The article examines the figure of Ernesto Nathan Rogers, one of the most famous Italian architects of the postwar period who influenced the development of western architecture in 1950-1960-s. An article covers the main stages of E.N.Rogers’ biography which was conjugated with various spheres of his professional activities and assesses his contribution to the becoming of the postwar tendentions in Italian architecture.
