Article INVESTIGATION AND SEARCH OF THE WAYS FOR SOLUTION OF REGIONAL TOWN-PLANNING PROBLEMS OF AZERBAIJAN

Abstract Economic and town-planning processes observed in the system of settlement and urban development of the regions of Azerbaijan require consideration of the interconnection of spheres that forces to resort to a systematic approach to the study of their existing problems through improving and preserving the sustainable development. The goal of the article is to investigate and deduce the priority issues of individual regions of Azerbaijan and try to resolve their main problems without it is not reasonable to lead the future development. The following goals were set for this purpose: to determine the scale and the directions of the leading branches demanding transformations in interrelation with the neighboring regions. This is the commonality of territorial borders, the similarity of transportation and services, as well as natural and geographical conditions. At the same time, each region has its own development potential and the expanding of local resources that determine the usefulness of a particular industry. The aforementioned made it possible to derive a number of conclusions recommended in improving their existing state of regions of Azerbaijan.
