Abstract

The article concerns the main phases of the integration between the architecture and CIT and also the related changes of the design methodology. The formation of the new technology of designing (BIM) is analyzed in three aspects. The first one is the set of specialized programs that serve directly the design. The second aspect is the research of the integration of multiple disciplines in the design workflow (knowledge management, formalization of the data, the search for unique approaches). The third aspect is the educational environment that promotes the new technologies development and testing the new design methodology. The issues of the modernization of national higher architectural education in order to meet the modern society inquiry is touched on too.
