Abstract

The article deals with the evolution of the Russian Orthodox Church architecture from the point of view of analysis of the starting positions of a new round of Church-building after 1990. General comparative analysis of the pre-revolutionary and modern motivations of development of temple architecture has been done. Were considered a harmonizing and entropy-destructive processes of the evolution of temple architecture in relation to modern conditions. The General evaluation scheme of the source positions and components of the temple architecture after 1990 is suggested. The role of the Orthodox Church internal components of the development of temple architecture in the modern world is described.
