| Abstract |
The issues of preservation, protection and promotion of the historical and cultural heritage of Russia are discussed in the article. Construction of archaeological and ethnographic park complexes is proposed as the main way of its solution. The research of space structure is held, the complex approach to design is elaborated, the principles of sustainable development for a particular project are revealed and required conditions for its implementation are identified. In addition, the conception of "Archaeological Park" is formulated in this work and the classification of space organization and ethnographic park complexes and indicators, by means of which they differ, are presented.
