Article DEVELOPMENT FEATURES OF ARCHITECTURAL AND PLANNING ORGANIZATION OF THE MARINE TERMINAL

Abstract The article contains topical issues and trends in construction and architecture marine passenger terminals. It submitted the history of the formation of the architectural appearance and functionality of the twentieth century. It considered the world experience in designing marine terminals in a number of selected examples. The author shows the main current at the time requirements for the design of these structures, as the transportation hub city-forming objects of social and cultural centers. Highlighted current trends integration of seaports in the urban environment. Revealed the actual typical functional structure of the planning and marinas.
