Abstract |
The article discusses the current state and prospects of development of the domestic theory of urban planning The primary role of town planning is to find solutions to problems of systemic organization of space. Urban planning science designed to solve the problems of the development of theoretical and design fundamentals research, forecasting systems and advanced space management. Basic and applied scientific research and developments in modern conditions require extended range of problems to be solved, the changing nature of professional thinking, develop a fundamentally new approach to the studied phenomena as quantitative accumulation of knowledge and traditional techniques for solving problems is no longer enough, and current problems are too complex. Today, the development of the national urban planning needs to develop a comprehensive methodology that provides justification in the project process from scientific positions most efficient schemes of spatial distribution of land-use industry.
