Article ANALYSIS AND SYSTEMATIZATION OF CONCEPTS OF HALFTIMBERED ARCHITECTURE

Abstract The work carried out is an analysis of the changes in concept of half-timbered architecture in the Russian scientific and technical literature. The parallels with foreign experience identifies the main problems and contradictions in the Russian-language concept of half-timbered architecture. The proposed new terminology in the field of half-timbered architecture as a way to solve the problems and contradictions that are offered in the universal criteria that belongs to the framework are identified as challenges facing the half-timbered architecture of the moment.
