Article PRINCIPLES OF FORMATION OF ENERGY EFFICIENT SETTLEMENTS

Abstract The first energy-efficient settlements appeared in the late 1970's - early 1980's. Energy-efficient settlements allow to study the energy-saving technologies in real conditions. We also studied the ratio between the energy saving and ecological and social conditions. In this article the social, environmental and energy requirements for energy-efficient settlements are presented. Article also presents the criteria for assessment the quality of energy efficient settlements.
