Abstract |
The article describes a new three-dimensional laser scanning technology in solving applied
problems - measuring of architectural monuments. On the example of Alexander Nevsky temple in
Novosibirsk, it is shown an opportunity of getting all the necessary tonnage figures based on "point
cloud". It is suggested that this technology is going to be very convenient and technologically
advanced standard for capturing and documenting the forms of architectural monuments in coming
years.
Based on tonnage data the article also analyzes the size and proportions of Alexander Nevsky church. It is established that the architect K. Lygin designing the Alexander Nevsky temple used simple modular ratio based on the feet and fathoms. Reconstruction of the forming plan logic showed that it was based on simple geometric scheme, consisting of five circles: one central and some circles of smaller diameter adjoining it from the four sides. |
