Abstract The article considers the idea of interpreting the interaction of anthropogenic and natural environments as the spatial organization of cities and the processes of life in cities in accordance with the human environment in the logic of nature. New principles of planning and development of settlements, organization of settlement systems and placement of productive forces change priorities from technogenic to nature-like orientation. Urbanized ecological systems become complex self-organizing, self-regulating and self-developing systems that function on the basis of nature-like principles of development of the human environment. The main characteristic of such urban ecosystems is the presence of relatively closed, stable in time and space flows of matter, energy and information in the interaction of anthropogenic and natural environments.
Keywords: ecological crisis, nature-like technologies, urbobiosystem, urbobiogeocenosis, biosimilar complex systems
