Authors

Å. Petrovskaya
Moscow Institute of Architecture (State Academy), Moscow, Russia

Abstract The article is devoted to methods of forming local environmental regulations for historically formed territories, criteria for assessing the quality of urban space and principles of regulating new development within the framework of preserving local traditions and identifying the leading factors for a particular urban area that determine its further development. The triune system of environmental code allows us to evaluate and adjust the quality of the urban environment, taking into account socio-cultural, environmental and psychoemotional factors of perception. The article presents the goals and objectives for several studies in the master's program of MARHI for 2018-2020, devoted to the issues of encoding environmental parameters.
Keywords: environmental coding methodology, urban environment identity, architectural space perception levels, space quality criteria, social and cultural effects of space, cognitive urbanism, local environmental regulations, small green public spaces, morphotypes, neurophysiology
