Article	ARCHITECTURAL LIGHTING OF MEMORIAL COMPLEXES

Abstract	The article is devoted to the analysis of artificial lighting of memorial complexes. In connection with globalization, we are devaluing historical and cultural values; the importance of memorial complexes is increasing. Memorial objects are characterized by a synthesis of architecture, sculpture, monumental painting and landscape gardening art, the monumental and solemn nature of architecture, and the creation of a certain mood, the specific nature of vegetation, and a well-thought-out timetable. The publication discusses memorial and architectural complexes dedicated to the Great Patriotic War. Examples of lighting design solutions are given; the problems of artificial lighting of these objects are touched.
