Abstract The article is devoted to the modern experience of design and construction of multi-apartment wooden houses. The analysis of typical examples of multi-apartment wooden buildings erected abroad. The main reasons for the increased interest in the construction of multi-apartment wooden houses. The main architectural aspects of the design of buildings of a new type are highlighted. Further directions of research are formulated.
