Abstract The article deals with current trends in design and project management based on BIM-design technologies and prerequisites for the use of BIM technology for design in engineering companies. The main features and advantages of the use of innovative technologies in the design, construction and management of objects. An overview of the BIM information model of the facility is the creation, processing, storage and subsequent management of data about the construction site. The necessary measures for correct implementation of BIM-design at the enterprise are noted.
