AbstractArchitect Valentin Artyukhov (1913-1978) played important role in post-war Sevastopol reconstruction. First time he took the lead during city's General Plan of 1947 correction, later on its implementation from 1949 and new General Plan of 1965 development. Artyukhov also became an author of several Sevastopol memorial complexes and monuments architecture. Despite his significant contribution his work is still underestimated. Nowadays we have possibility to use an archive materials and records to describe his professional efforts more completely.
