Abstract	This article is a fragment of scientific research devoted to the analysis of modern approaches to the understanding of architecture. The article reviews the problematics of questionable efficiency of para-scientific methods (principles and terminology) in order to give the ideological concepts of postmodernism and neo-avant-garde "theoretical significance".
