Abstract The article considers innovative technologies in the field of growing plants and saving energy resources as the main factors influencing on plant-growing enterprises design. Foreign and domestic design experience and contemporary trends in the agricultural architecture development, which based on innovative technologies, have been analyzed. New approaches of modern plant growing enterprises design, as well as perspectives for rural development, have been identified.
