Abstract

The article is devoted to the development of the left-bank territories in the city of Rostov-on-Don. The development of floodplain areas for urban development is a complex issue that requires an informed decision. The article substantiates the development of the left-bank territories from the position of eco-urbanism on the basis and of the author's concept – PÎLE (A separately planned landscape unit). The possibility of using rainwater as a resource for the development of urban areas and maintaining ecological balance in floodplain conditions is substantiated.
