The article defines actual problems and tendencies of resort hotels` projection and construction. There is a necessity to organize resort hotels` planning structure corresponding to the new requirements and development of their functional base. The author formulates the main architectural and planning principles of resort hotels: social accessibility, year-round comfort, ecological sensitivity. Based on the analysis of domestic and foreign experience these principles are considered to be the most relevant in the projecting the modern resort hotels.
