Article TOWN-PLANNING APPROACHES AND METHODS OF SPATIAL DEVELOPMENT OF STRUCTURAL ELEMENTS OF ROSTOV AND KRASNODAR URBAN AGGLOMERATIONS

Abstract
The paper dedicated to the study of development structural and planning formations of the urban agglomerations in the contemporary territorial and economic situation. In a course of the analysis of the structures and formation of Rostov and Krasnodar agglomerations were emphasized their structural elements such as the core, the development axis, the area between the axes. The peculiarities of the structural and functional organization of the planning elements of each agglomeration are determined. There were drawn a pattern and principles of the territory development and proposed the perspective space reorganization to achieve the optimal functionality.
