MINIMIZATION OF SPACE AS A CONTEMPORARY TREND IN ECONOMY CLASS HOTELS ARCHITECTURE

Abstract

In this article the short history of economy class hotels development presented and the current state in the sphere of the budget tourism in the world is provided. The author specified the main prerequisites and factors for development of capsular hotels (microhotels). Foreign and domestic experience of capsular hotels designing is studied. The item of economy class hotels development necessity (including capsule hotels / microhotels) which aren't correlated to the domestic regulatory base is considered. It is specified that minimization of modern economy class hotels parameters is connected with development of the technologies allowing to reduce parameters of rooms and to minimize quantity of a staff, with the mass growing demand for an economic tourist product, and also with the fact that frequent and short spatial movements become global lifestyle of people.
