OTTOMAN ARCHITECTURAL COMPLEXES OF THE XVI CENTURY (ON THE EXAMPLE OF SULEYMANIYE'S COMPLEX)

Abstract
Peculiarities of textural monuments for socio-religious and cult facilities, built during the reign of the Ottoman Empire of 16th century – flourishing of its statehood are considered in the study. The article deals with basic functionally constructive features of special public complexes for religious and socio-cultural purpose, on which held thorough researches through the most developed and high grade «Suleymaniye», called in vernacular «kulliye». The features of planning solution of such complexes structurally and consistently are revealed, the composition of the main objects and architectural-artistic images of this town-planning ensemble are defined in the article. Comparative analysis of the prototypes, constructed in the cities of other Muslim states during prosperity of medieval complexes is given in the study as well.
