THE EXPERIENCE OF COLORISTIC DESIGNIN HISTORICAL CITIES

Abstract

In the second half of the XXth century a number of historical cities in the world appealed to the professional solution to the problem of the identity of its coloristic environment on the basis of color and architectural heritage and natural environment. The article considers the most striking manifestations of the project activities in this area.

This article was prepared within the framework of a research project carried out under the grant RGNF: Project 14-04-00202 «Architectural colourism as method of improving of the urban environment quality».
