| Abstract |
Today is widely developed high-rise buildings, but few know that the erection of multi-story houses took place long before our days. There are several of these historical examples. One of them is the construction of insula in Ancient Rome, through archaeological excavations and modern methods of investigation about the construction of the insula know very much. The second and less well-studied example is the construction of multi-story houses in Yemen.
