Article CRITICAL ANALYSIS OF THE GREEN INFRASTRUCTURE CONCEPT

Abstract The article considers one of modern views on the formation of green areas of the city – the concept of "Green infrastructure". Defines the concept, origin story, the main ideas, principles, objectives and benefits. Critical analysis and comparison with some other views of domestic and foreign researchers in the field of landscape architecture. Describe common and different principles of formation of green areas of the city: the city master plan and structure plan developed the concept of "Green infrastructure". There are some controversial and rational ideas aimed at solving the problem sounded.
