| Abstract |
This article is a fragment of an analytical study on the architecture and architects. In this article the author reinterprets the basic category of academic art history – concept of style. Using the method of comparative analysis, he compares and contrasts the style and trends, identifying their nature and ontological differences between them. Styles and trends are considered in the space and time and in its relationship with the context – both in the physical context of the urban environment and the context of contemporary culture.
