Article IMPORTANCE OF WORLD EXHIBITIONS IN FORMATION OF PHYSICAL APPEARANCE OF THE CITY

Abstract The article describes the history of the most famous World EXPO and their analysis in terms of city-forming factor. World Fair is studied in each time period and analyzed for a variety of factors that affecting the city. Organizers of exhibitions are changing the industrial environment of peoples living and involve them in innovative space formed by guest-countries of EXPO. The article considers the exhibition as an opportunity for the reconstruction of the city, as a field for competition in options for future development, as well as the influence of the artistic image on the aesthetic and the social function of the city during the construction of urban ensembles. World exhibitions ensure the involvement of all world approach to global changes in the creating of competitive products, construction in various fields such as: industrial area, food, transportation, communications, agriculture, raw material and others. After the even, the creators of the exhibition analyze the results of further adaptation of the city. They also include exhibitions in the urban environment, so using them in the future is really important.
