| Abstract |
This article reviews conceptual projects of the cities of future. The first part of the article deals with projects, which develop further the ideas originating from the XX century while the main aspects that emerged at the beginning of the XXI century, are considered in the second part. Ecology becomes the main theme, which evidently influences the whole range of design solutions, it can be found both in absolutely new concepts of the city of future and in those that further develop the already known approaches. The article traces the emerging trends that contribute to creation of a new image for the future of urbanization.
