Abstract
Article scrutinizes suburban rehab centers, especially those for children, with their development, location, and architecture in the spotlight. Article makes focus on the description of development of modern rehabilitation in Russia with certain foreign examples. Here is also defined the conception of rehabilitation center and steps of restorative treatment that influence the architecture of buildings, and described the system of geographic location of rehabilitation centers of Russia. Article examines layout schemes of rehabilitation centers and ways of creating of restorative environment by means of architecture.
