Abstract This article deals with the development of urban planning decisions and reconstruction of modern cities, which could be implemented at the moment. The article is based on the findings and ideas of architects 30 - 70 years, in particular Le Corbusier Gutnova, Glazychev that in the middle of the twentieth century, expressed his ideas on urban development and reconstruction of the modern city. The article examines the recovery and reconstruction of the urban environment.
