Abstract	The article examines the coloristic formation in the education system in the School of Architecture. Revealed the importance of discipline «Architectural coloring» in the preparation of the architect. Analyzes of color exercises, which aim to study the influence on the shaping action of polychrome. The possibilities of creating with the help of color visual sensations new plastic form. Conclusions are formed based on practical experience of the author with the students of the Moscow Institute of Architecture (State Academy).
