Authors D. Durneva, Moscow Institute of Architecture (State Academy), Moscow, Russia
Abstract The development of architectural environment according to the development of society requires flexible design solutions to adapt spaces. Additional urban space as the functional basis of the dynamic environment requires the development of cities.

Designing of transformable structures (built-in and free-standing) is one of the approaches to the creation of additional spaces. Applying structures, we increase the development potential of environment without disturbing its existing structure. These structures provide the opportunity to experiment with the environment and operation of the proposed project to identify solutions. Additional space is needed for developing cities.
