Article INTERPRETATION OF THE THREE RINGS HOLES, BUILT-IN ARCHITECTURAL SYSTEMS STONEHENGE

Abstract This paper presents an aspect of the study of the structural properties of architectural space of megalithic complex Stonehenge.

The results of the method of quantitative and numerical analysis of circular structures built in this architectural system, confirmed the suitability of the rings hole X, Y, Z as stationary structural basis for the calendar playback three time cycles of moon: a full cycle of lunar eclipses, a full lunar cycle and the solar -lunar calendar Metonic cycle.

In complex Stonehenge each ring structure of the wells have certain semantic content, and it executes the given calendar function. All three structures united as a community of their tasks and methodological unity of used architectural solutions.
