Article	PROBLEMS OF INDUSTRIAL AND DOMESTIC WASTES ON URBANIZED TERRIRORIES OF ABSHERON PENINSULA

Abstract	The article is devoted to problems of collection and utilization of industrial and domestic wastes on urbanized territories of Absheron peninsula. During last years a lot of industrial and domestic wastes are formed on the territory of peninsula. More than 40% of solid wastes accumulate on spontaneous dumps, as a result of this serious ecological problems occur.Totally 800 ha of soils that is 0,3% of region area is occupied by chaotic dumps. During last 10 years considerable changes happen in the structure and volume of solid household wastes. Urgent measures for solution of problems of industrial and household wastes utilization and ecological situation improvement in Baku and Absheron peninsula is necessary.
