Abstract | Rapid growth of development of the industry in Baku city, a capital of Azerbaijan in it Soviet socialist period, was a foundation of the new transport infrastructure forming. When a creation of Baku master plans (in different years) by prominent architects like A.P. Ivanitskiy, L.I. Ilyin and others, they took into account new highways, broadening and straightening of the city central streets, creation of the necessary knots, crossroads, junctions between city districts, exits and entrances for favorable use of the transport. Projected and built the new urban settlements of Baku, which in they attached great importance not only to living and public building but also to formation of the street net and transport environment of this settlements, what were formed taking into account all requirements of that time. This article includes a temporal period since 20ies till the early 90ies of XX century. | ||||
